Piano Party with studio students -
Anna, Margie, Richard and Eyan..
To start the Piano Party that as held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, students tried Finger Twister. Then time was spent studying about the child prodigy Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus MOZART. Miss Phyllis played a little of several of his famous pieces including Sonata in C Major, Ah, Vous Dirai-je Maman (Theme & 12 Variation on “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’), Marriage of Figaro, Eine Kleine Nacht Musik (A Little Night Music), Theme from Symphony No. 40 and Turkish March .
Students learned about intervals and played Interval Bingo.
Time was spent working on rhythm with candy bar rhythm cards, notating color names from paint chips and the group had fun with Rhythm Cups.
Margie performed for the group by playing Spring Song by Vivaldi.
