Piano Maestro
is an App for the iPad created by Joy Tunes. It contains a library of songs, a section with method books (including the Piano Pronto series I use) and has a group of fun exercises. Piano Maestro is $60 per year. With my recent iPad purchase, I am pleased to use it occasionally in the lesson time as a fun extra. Below are two of my students having some fun with it at lesson time and some sample pictures of the app. For more information on Piano Maestro, see the website Joy Tunes. I am pleased to introduce in my studio: "Roadtrip!™ is a primer level method book for very early beginners ages 4 and up. Students master basic music fundamentals while creating a musical memory book that becomes a keepsake item to commemorate their maiden voyage into piano lessons." Piano Pronto Publishing
Fun activities, games and worksheets are incorporated to help learn the musical concepts. Duets are featured with each of the 18 songs and backing tracks help with at home practice. Here are some pictures of the studio Roadtrip! adventure: |
